Since we've some time now, why don't I tell you a little story.

A story about a gruesome battle between humans and the gods.

Long ago, Obselion Castle was home to the Palmyna Royal Family.

It was originally a scenic castle, surrounded in greenery.

However, this is what happened to it after the battle with the gods.

Do you know of the Four Heroes of Palmyna?

There's a legend that says the four warriors fought against Cardes to save this land.

It's even said that Edea, Princess of Palmyna, was among them.

If the legend is true, it was these Four Heroes who sealed away Cardes.

However, it's said that in exchange for being able to seal away Cardes...

...the Four Heroes had to sacrifice their very lives.

I wonder what they might have been thinking toward the end.

Were they happy in believing that sealing away Cardes would save Palmyna?

Is that how they were able to so fearlessly face death?

As valiant as they were to risk their lives to protect this place...

...as they began fighting, it had already been lost.

A truly sad story, indeed...
