OK, let’s continue. Elgaia is made up of two large countries.

One of these, the Randall Empire, is home to the Akras Summoners’ Hall.

The Akras Summoners’ Hall is in charge of the nation’s economic

and military affairs, so the whole empire bit is just for show, really.

Randall’s elite class are descended from those who rebuilt the nation after it

separated from Grand Gaia, which goes some way to explaining why they act so high and mighty.

Nowadays they’re just a bunch of old fogeys sitting around enjoying their pampered lifestyles.

Needless to say, their army’s mostly for show, a display of authority, if you will.

Though I guess a talented soldier or two have passed through its ranks from time to time.

Anyway, the other country is the Elgaia Federation,

although their story’s pretty similar.

Neither country has what it takes to stand up to the Akras Summoners’ Hall,

so the Hall effectively rules over the whole of Elgaia.

And as I’m the mightiest Summoner in the Akras Summoners’ Hall,

that makes me the mightiest in the whole of Elgaia!
