Well, to make a long story short, this is a parallel dimension that Noel and I found after considerable effort.

It's similar to Grand Gaia in many aspects, but there are very interesting...shall we say, differences...?

Anyway, the powers-that-be decided to kill two birds with one stone: have like-minded Summoners like you gather and form Guilds together here...

...while simultaneously snagging resources from this world as they expand their influence.

Nifty, eh? Of course, Hans, just because it seems familiar doesn't mean that the differences won't trip you up.

Take a look over to the west, for example. You'll notice that we're on a very large plateau...

See that? Yup, that's a forest surrounding our "little" island--a sea of trees, to be exact.

It's taken over what would normally be bodies of water around this place.

And right over there, if you care to follow where I'm pointing at...

Yup! Your very own floating island! Each Guild gets one. We're finding loads of them here.

Most are uninhabited, though like I said, we've put up a fair bit already here and there...

...but a half-decent comms system--a much less consistent means of transportation for materials--is still being fixed.

There was a civilization here once, a long time ago, but it looks like they had a civil war.

It's a little sad, actually. You think that the people who took care of you would be around forever. But... Oh, dear, look at me! Forget about that bit, will you?

Well, going back to what I was saying earlier, we're using transportation portals for now.

I'm afraid that radio signals like the ones you use in Frontier Hunter attract too much attention from the less friendly creatures in the lowlands.

But I'm sure a strong Summoner like yourself can figure something out if push comes to shove!

So, just to summarize it all, you have a brand-new center for Guild activities on your own floating island-city! Congratulations!

You can stop staring at the hands in the jars now. They'll use any excuse to clap away.

Let's start from the top then, shall we? The Guild Quarters let you view and manage your guild.

There you can check on your members, see other guilds, and that sort of thing.

The Guild Hall lets you update your Guild Insignia and Motto. Make it snappy, I say!

Nothing like a good insignia and motto to make your enemies run for the hills!

So make sure to come up with something good. Anyway, where was I?

Ah, yes. The Research Center lets you upgrade your guild's abilities and spells, among other things.

You'll probably be visiting it a lot in the upcoming days. It'll come in handy for....stuff.

The Guild Board is where you post notices for people, have FAQs about your guild...

...and place bids for drawing and quartering miscreants you find in your ranks!

Okay, maybe not that last one... Just maybe.

And last, but not least, the Rankings will let you see how you're doing against other guilds, especially in Guild Raid competitions.

You don't ever want to be dead last though, or your Guild will be just plain old dead.

In the future your humble town will get bigger, and so will your guild! So it's important to stay on top of things.

Goodness gracious. If you can't pay attention when I'm talking, don't come blaming me when something eats you alive.

We haven't charted much of the world beyond our immediate borders because we are already lacking in manpower as it is.

That means all we can do right now is maintain a perimeter on the walls with a constant watch. If there's any exploring to be done, it'll be you Summoners doing it.
