You've been participating in the Frontier Hunter quests, right?

They always ask for Summoners from the Regular Army to go explore unknown territories in Grand Gaia and the such, but...

...it looks like the land surveys are not going as well as they initially expected.

That's why I invented a new simulator to help out all the Summoners participating in those quests.

It's called "Frontier Gate," and in it you can fight virtual opponents to gain experience you can use later in the field.

The truth is that I've been wanting to do some upgrades on the current Trial Program back at the Summoners' Research Lab for some time now...

...so that's why I wanted to ask for your help, since I get the feeling you'd provide me with lots of useful data.

So, can you help me out? If you're willing to give it a try, then I'll explain how it works.

You can run Frontier Gate by using the same Hunter Orbs you usually use for Frontier Hunter.

And since this is a simulator and all, I can control the length of the dungeon from my side.

So every time you win a few battles here and there...

...I'll give you the option to either continue going even deeper into the dungeon, or retire.

If you're in a rush to do something else, you can pause and take a break, and next time I'll just have you continue where you left off.

You'll get different rewards depending on how deep you go into the dungeon, so try reaching the very end to get the best stuff!

But do remember, if your Squad gets wiped out, you'll lose any rewards you've gathered along the way.

So if you feel like things are getting out of hand, you may wanna retire just to be safe.

Also, since this simulator is programmed to help Summoners gather experience through some serious training...

...you won't be able to use any Items inside, so be careful in there.

Oh, c'mon. Don't tell me you were expecting to be able to use Items in my brand new simulator!

A mighty Summoner like yourself should be just fine without them, am I right?

Okay, fine... I'll be nice enough to provide you with a bit of support from my side.

I'll grant you a list of special abilities and stuff before every battle...

...and you can choose one of those to help you throughout the dungeon.
