Karl
Well, if it isn't Hans!

Karl
If you're here it must mean you're wanting to give the Colosseum a go, right?

Karl
What is it, you ask? Don't tell me you came all the way out here without knowing at least that much!

Karl
Ha ha ha. Oh Hans, you never change.

Karl
Fine, I'll teach you a thing or two about the Colosseum then.

Karl
The Colosseum is a battleground located beneath the Arena.

Karl
Summoners can fight each other just like in the Arena, but the rules are a bit different.

Karl
First of all, all Summoners are entitled to both a first and second strike, which means that all battles are decided in two rounds.

Karl
And for each round, depending on whether you strike first or second, you will have to choose a battle formation to proceed.

Karl
The term "battle formation" should be self-explanatory, but it basically just refers to how your Units will move on the battlefield.

Karl
However, Colosseum battle formations have their own strengths and weaknesses, so make sure to choose wisely!

Karl
If your opponent chooses a formation stronger than yours, that means you'll lose that round.

Karl
So the point of it all is to choose the formation which will allow you to use your battle power in the most efficient way possible.

Karl
......

Karl
You with me so far? You look like you're spacing out a little...

Karl
Anyway, let's move on, shall we?

Karl
Let's talk about rewards and classes.

Karl
Well, well! Looks like you're more focused now that we're talking about rewards, eh?

Karl
When you win at the Colosseum, you get special points called Colosseum Battle Points (CBP).

Karl
If you collect a bunch of these, you can trade them for rewards later at the Exchange Hall.

Karl
There are also different classes in the Colosseum.

Karl
A certain Cost limit is assigned to each class you participate in.

Karl
However, there are classes without Cost limits in which you can get more CBP than usual...

Karl
...but the opponents awaiting you there are pretty powerful, so don't push yourself harder than you need to at first.

Karl
But knowing you I'd say you'll be reaching that class in no time.

Karl
By the way, the rewards you can trade for are also divided into different ranks.

Karl
Once you have claimed all the rewards in one specific rank, the rewards for the next rank will become available for exchange.

Karl
I hear that the higher the rank, the better the rewards, so make sure to exchange your points often!

Karl
And one last thing.

Karl
The Colosseum also has a seasonal ranking system.

Karl
This ranking is based on all the points you have collected during a certain period of time.

Karl
And actually, there are rankings for each class...

Karl
...so there's a chance you could make it into the rankings for all classes if you're lucky enough!

Karl
So? Are you excited to get started now?

Karl
Personally, I don't really care for stuff like this or the Arena.

Karl
Ha ha ha. C'mon, don't act so surprised.

Karl
The truth is that I only came here to explain all this stuff to you because I was ordered to by the Summoners' Hall.

Karl
But I'm looking forward to seeing you in action anyway!

Karl
It's gonna be great having you show off your amazing skills against other Summoners.

Karl
So, do you have a better idea of how the Colosseum works now?

Karl
It might be more difficult than the Arena...

Karl
...but it's something new, so it might be good to just give it a try.

Karl
Oh yeah, don't forget that you can get the tickets you need to fight in the Colosseum by winning at the Arena.

Karl
But just this one time the Hall has been gracious enough...

Karl
...to let you have 3 tickets to start with! So here you go!

Karl
Now, why don't you hurry up and try your luck?

Karl
I gotta go though. But I'll be waiting to hear about your victories soon!
