I don't know why, but for some reason it looks like Seria doesn't want you to hear what happened back then...

I mean, it's not just her story. It's mine as much as it is hers too.

When we were rookie Summoners...

...the whole Hall was called upon to participate in a demon slaying mission.

Seria and I were both assigned to different squadrons to get the job done.

But Seria's squadron was ambushed, being ultimately driven inside a cave from which they couldn't escape.

So the first time I ever met her was inside that cave.

Oh, I should mention that the leader of that squadron was not actually Seria.

Like I said before, both her and I were still rookies back then.

But either way, I tried to help Seria's squadron while they were still stuck inside that cave...

...and you know what she said to me?

"If you're a true Summoner, then the mission should be your priority!"

"Our rescue should only come after that!!"

That's what she told me.

When I think about it now, it was just like Seria to say something like that.

But back then, I was really shocked.

I mean, I couldn't believe that even though we were both just beginners, she was already so selfless.

And that's when I thought that I really wanted to fight alongside her one day.

After she said that, I had no idea of how to proceed.

So I just tried to leave the place...
